Giving of time and resources to worthy causes is one of my favorite things to do. I wish I had endless amounts of both to give to groups that are near and dear to my heart. Here are a few that I have worked closely with and wisely use all that is given to them to reach their missions:
Compassion International -Christian child sponsorship of children all around the world (I've been sponsoring Karol in Peru for 2 years now and get regular letters and pictures from her)
Palmetto Place Children's Emergency Shelter -safe housing for children often placed there because of abuse and neglect
Pets Inc- place stray and abandoned animals with loving, permanent families (where Luna came from!)
SC Children's Trust- preventing child abuse and neglect and unintentional injury
Rally Foundation - raises funds and awareness for pediatric cancer (great half marathon training program!)
